Details- Looking for a Study & Play Partner for My Autistic Son with mild learning disparity Hi everyone, I’m a new Behavioural Interventionist (BI) and caregiver in Canada, but I’ve been a professional teacher for over 23 years in Hong Kong. I hold a teaching certificate from Hong Kong’s British-based education system and used to run a charitable organization supporting children with similar learning needs. Because of this, I have a lot of related teaching materials and educational tools at home. I have a 6-year-old autistic son with mild learning disparity, and I’m looking for children with similar needs and background to be his study and play partner. The idea is to create a structured but fun environment where they can learn, eat, and play together, rather than just free play. We are available on weekdays (except Saturdays) and may provide support until 7 or 8 PM. I can do school pick-up if needed, though I prefer not to. Our home is in Hopington, Langley, with space to play both indoors and in our yard. I’m registered with TUEX that accepts AFU payments. The rate is $25/hour.
